About Me
My name is Bessa Wahba. I am extremely excited to be in the beginning stages of the Educational Technology Master's Program at NJCU. As a technology teacher and integrator, I firmly stand behind the use of technology in the classroom to supplement teachers' instruction. Currently, I am employed at Horace Mann Community School in Bayonne, NJ. There I have the opportunity to teach about 500+ students of all ages and levels. In addition to teaching, I repair and assist with any technical issues as well as assist teachers with technology integration. I have also worked at two other schools prior to landing in Bayonne. Images of my different classrooms can be found on the photos page. About This Webpage This webpage is intended to portray various technology tools for teachers, to explain why some teachers are reluctant to utilize technology, and to provide a professional development workshop that will assist reluctant teachers the confidence and support they need to use suggested technology. |
